To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf.

 

OUT OF BOUNDS

All areas beyond the line of white posts with black tops and outside the official Club boundary, marked with white pipes.
All areas within the outer edge of the cement paths surrounding the Club House and Car Park, where marked.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR

(a) Areas marked by white stakes and/or white lines. (Stakes, poles or similar items are by definition immovable obstructions).

(b) Except in a hazard, a rut made by the wheels of a mower, tractor or motor vehicle.

Note: The stakes are immovable obstructions.

STAKED AND/OR GUARDED TREES AND SHRUBS

If a shrub or tree which is staked or guarded, (Note: The stakes and guards are immovable obstructions) interferes with the player's stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure described in Rule 24-2b(i) (Immovable Obstruction). The ball may be cleaned when so lifted.

HAZARDS

(a) Water Hazards are defined by yellow lines and/or stakes.

(b) Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red lines and/or stakes.

Note: The stakes are immovable obstructions.

POWER LINES

If a ball strikes an overhead power line and/or pole, the ball MUST BE replayed without penalty. Decision 33-8/13.

DISTANCE MARKERS

All distances shown are to the centre of the green.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (24-1)

  1. All defined gardens except those located within hazards
  2. All logs on cement piers as erected on the 11th and 12th holes
  3. All ornamental trees/shrubs indicating distances to the centre of the green
  4. Exposed tree roots on fairways only to be treated as GUR.
  5. Relief restricted to lie of ball and area of intended swing,
    ie. NO relief for stance.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES: Stroke Play - 2 Strokes; Match Play - Loss of Hole.
